Abstract submissions are now closed.
Here you can submit abstracts to the REIYL Conference 2019: Transatlantic Conversations in Research on Inclusive Youth Literature. Please read all instructions carefully throughout the submissions process. You will be asked to select a theme for your abstracts; please choose the theme that most closely relates to your topic. The submission deadline is 8 January.
Please note that submissions should be made the same time that your account is created; closing the page before completing a full submission may result in an error message when you attempt to log in again. If any questions or issues, please email us at questions@REIYL.com.
The themes are:
- Social media activism
- Interdisciplinary engagement
- Destabilizing concept of Western canon as “mainstream” /representations outside Western canon
- Engagement with other media forums (theatre, filmmaking etc.)
- Intersectional identities (selecting one of the following):
- optional: write in your own category
- Data collection
- Critical approaches to youth literature
